Our Founder

Our founder, Shri Swami Madhusudhanananda Puri, is from the southern part of India, and he completed his Masters in Sanskrit (M.A.) before he took on the journey of sanyasa under the guidance of his esteemed Guru, Parama Poojya Sri Sri Sri Shiva Puri Mahaswamigal. His passion to gain knowledge led him to study Vedanta under Swami Dayananda Saraswathi. At the age of 16, he left home to become a saint but was found by his parents within 15 days. After 14 years, he relinquished worldly attachments to dwell among Himalayan saints and explore the sacred Himalayan region spanning across India and Nepal. Swami Madhusudhanananda Puri embarked on his transformative journeys and visited sites like Mount Kailash and the holy lake Manasasarover, where he gained profound experience while performing meditation and yoga. He spent the next few years serving people in Australia and traveling the world. Later, he became an Upasaka of Sri Vidya (the Divine Mother, Sri Rajarajeshwari Lalita Maha Tripurasundari). Guided by his Guru, Parama poojya Sri Sri Sri Shiva Puri Mahaswamigal, Swami Madhusudhanananda Puri draws inspiration from the unwavering commitment of his guru, who has been performing the Sri Vidya pooja (Navavaruna Pooja) for the past 29 years without missing it even for a day.
